The Clubs offer a variety of part-time opportunities for people with experience and academic training in education, social work, physical education, recreation, or related fields. There also offer entry level positions in several areas at Camp Big Silver.

Education Programs
Educational Activities Center Coordinator to implement programs that stimulate interest in educational games, computers and reading.
PowerHour Coordinator to recruit and supervise volunteers who provide after-school homework help for club members.
Cadet Room Leader to work with 7-to-9 year-old boys and girls to develop social skills and provide goal-setting experiences. |

Arts & Crafts Programs
Art Coordinator to plan activities for youngsters of all ages (7 to 18) that encourage their creative expression through various media. |

Athletic Programs
Gym Instructors to organize and supervise programs in health education, recreation and sports.
Life Guards to supervise open swim, organize pool activities and provide basic swimming instruction. Must be American Red Cross certified and a high school graduate.

Games Room Programs
General Recreation Supervisior to coordinate ping-pong, foosball and pool tournaments and contests that develop good sportsmanship habits. |

Teen Programs
Teen Lounge Leader to interact with our teens, ages 13 to 18, instilling positive social interaction in an informal atmosphere. |

Summer Resident Camp Big Silver

Working Conditions
The four Boys & Girls Clubs are located in the neighborhoods with the greatest need; the Old West End, East Toledo, South Toledo and North Toledo.
Each Club is building-centered. They are clean, brightly lighted and safe havens for kids and employees. Games and sports activities draw youngsters to the Club. The personal attention, guidance and caring that the employees provide keep them there.
The Pay Scale
Compensation is based in accordance with the position for which you are hired. Some positions start at $7.32 per hour, while others pay higher. Employees have the opportunity for regular increases, and also qualify for sick leave and vacation.
