Jermey, who has been attending the Homer Hanham Unit for the last ten years, was chosen among 12 finalists for the award. He will now go on to compete for National Youth of the Year. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Toledo is an organization dedicated to promoting leadership, character, health and career development while emphasizing social, cultural, and educational growth. With a special concern for youth from disadvantaged circumstances, professional staff and volunteers use daily and varied programs in neighborhood facilities to help youth develop the self-esteem and self-reliance to become responsible and caring citizens.
